Beauty products are not confined to our makeup tables and bathroom closets. In fact, I have accumulated so many beauty products for my shower that I needed to install more shelving space in there! Over time, I have tried a multitude of different products, and have rounded up all of my current favorite shower essentials for Summer 2018.
The Products
1. Pure Silk Contour 6 Razor System ($10.99)
Pure Silk recently launched a razor that flexes and adjusts to every contour of the body with it’s unique double-flex head and ultra thin blades. The 6 ultra-thin blades allow for easy cleaning and are paired with dual moisture aloe-infused bars that help calm and protect skin. 2. Dr Teal’s Deep Marine Sea Kelp Body Wash
I have always used the Dr Teal’s Foaming Baths & Epsom Salts, but I recently tried their Deep Marine Sea Kelp Body Wash and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys! Infused with Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E, this body wash moisturizes while pure epsom salt helps to alleviate tired and achy muscles. This body wash also smells so heavenly with notes of lemongrass and orange essential oils that both soothe the senses and help to relieve stress. 3. Softsoap Earth Blends Triple Milled Bar Soap ($2.97)
In addition to body washes, I always have a bar soap in my shower. I’m currently obsessed with the Softsoap Earth Blends Triple Milled Bar Soap. Formulated with only 10 ingredients, this grapefruit & cucumber scented soap helps to maintain skins’ natural moisture while cleaning. The fresh grapefruit scent is what caught my eye at first and I am so happy that I gave this soap a try! Buy at WALMART.
4. Yon-Ka Paris Gommage Doux Hydrating Exfoliating Cream ($52)
I was recently introduced to the Yon-Ka Paris brand and have fallen in love with just about all of their products I’ve tried. One of my favorites though that I currently have in my shower is the Gommage Doux Hydrating Exfoliating Cream. This cream scrub is made with the exfoliating action of bamboo and apricot kernel powder and restructuring properties of mango butter, sesame oil and vegetable oil. This combination removes dead skin cells and leaves skin with a light, hydrating film on the surface. Because this cream is very exfoliating, I only use it about once or twice a week. 5. Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator ($28)
Another brand that I was recently introduced to and instantly fell in love with is the Liz Earle brand! Their Gentle Face Exfoliator helps to brighten dull skin by buffing away dead skin cells with exfoliating jojoba beads. After cleansing with this exfoliator, my skin feels so much smoother and softer thanks to their naturally active ingredients: cocoa butter and purifying eucalyptus. Buy at AMAZON or LIZEARLE.
6. FREEDOM Calming Cleanser ($26)
Due to my combination skin, I often switch up my cleanser depending on the condition of my skin. When my skin is more irritated, I always use the FREEDOM Calming Cleanser because it helps reduce facial redness and soothe any irritations.
