What's In My Shower
Beauty products are not confined to our makeup tables and bathroom closets. In fact, I have accumulated so many beauty products for the shower that I needed to install more shelving space in there! Over time, I have tried a long list of shower products, and have formulated a list of all of my personal favorites.

The Products

1. Hair La Vie Revitalize & Restore Shampoo & Conditioner ($21.75/each)
I always have at least a few different shampoos and conditioners in my shower, but right now one of my favorites is the Hair La Vie Revitalize & Restore shampoo/conditioners. The formula contains a rare combination of 21 natural oils, extracts, and vitamins that help repair damaged hair as well as rebuild the health of strands from the outside in. I noticed a huge difference in my hair after just one use, and have been using the duo ever since. My hair feels so much softer and healthier, which is super important to me as I have color treated hair. I recommend using both, as they work together to not only cleanse hair but protect from future damage. Buy at HairLaVie.com.

2. Dial Silk & Magnolia Body Wash ($4.98)
Forget bars of soap and let me introduce you to one of my favorite body washes! Dial has always been the most well-known brand name in soap products, and they have continued to create products that are not only high-quality, but trendy as well! The Silk & Magnolia Body Wash is enriched with Silk Protein and Magnolia Blossom, which provides a luxurious lather that keeps skin hydrated and incredibly soft. My favorite part about this soap is how amazing it smells, and how fresh it leaves my skin smelling after a shower. There is even added cationic polymers which increase moisturization and is clinically proven to leave skin softer. This body wash is also super affordable, running just under $5. Buy at Target.com.

3. Rituals Zensation Shower Foam ($15)
Another soap that I use and am obsessed with is the Rituals Zensation Shower Foam. My favorite part about this soap is the texture, and the unique gel-to-foam technology. Once you squeeze the gel into your hand, it immediately transforms into a rich and relaxing foam. I love that it transforms so quickly upon contact with water, and it makes the experience actually quite fun! It also has an amazing scent of Cherry Blossom, which leaves skin feeling silky soft and nourished. Buy at Rituals.com.

4. Gillette Venus Swirl Women’s Razor
Growing up, I had always used men’s razors since they seemed to work better and more efficiently. But I have recently tried the Gillette Venus Swirl Razor (for Women) and have completely changed my tune! The Venus Swirl Razor utilizes the Flexiball technology which is designed to contour better to hard to reach areas. It’s great for areas like behind the kneads and ankles, since these are areas with tricky curves that increase the likelihood of getting nicked by a razor. The advanced blades on the Venus Swirl are also 6x more flexible and have a MicroFine comb that guides hair to the blades to reach more hairs. So far, I have not gotten any nicks or cuts from this razor, which I can’t claim for others I have used. This razor is also very affordable, running under $10. I #ChooseToSmooth! Buy at WALMART.

5. Gillette Venus with a Touch of Olay Shave Gel, Violet Swirl ($3.99)
To go with the Venus Swirl razor, I use the Venus Olay Shave Gel in “Violet Swirl”. It was created to work with the Venus razor, which is why I chose to include this in my list as well. The shave gel formula helps to protect against nicks, redness & razor burn. It contains 5x more moisturizers than other shave gels, which you can really notice after shaving. My skin feels incredibly soft after shaving, and that is something that is super important in a shaving cream. Buy at Drugstore.com.

6. MD Complete’s Clarifying Cleanser ($19.99)
I don’t know about you, but I use my facial cleansers and exfoliators in the shower! It not only eliminates getting water all over my sink, but seems to be more efficient having the shower head wash it off. One of my favorite cleansers right now is the MD Complete Clarifying Cleanser. It works great for breakout-prone skin, which I have unfortunately had lately. The formula exfoliates skin which helps to clear clogged pores, and from this, prevents and clears breakouts. I use this cleanser to not only cleanse my face, but also to remove makeup as it exfoliates. The cleanser also contains a blend of Green Tea, Ginseng & Gingko Biloba extracts to provide potent antioxidant protection to both calm and smooth skin. Buy at mdcompleteskincare.com.

7. Dr Teal’s Comfort & Calm Foaming Bath ($4.87)
You’re never too old for a bubble bath, and Dr. Teal’s Foaming Bath collection is your answer to relaxation. It comes in a variety of scents, but my personal favorite is the ‘Comfort & Calm’ (with Chamomile). The chamomile nourishes skin and fills up the tub with long-lasting bubbles that help to relax tense muscles and relieve stress. Whenever I have a bath filled with this bubble foaming bath soap, I feel totally and completely relaxed. The bottle is quite large, and costs under $5 which is a steal for how much bubble bath you’re getting! It’s also fun to collect these so you can choose which scent you feel like having your bubble bath be. Buy at WALMART.

8. Colorproof CrazySmooth® Anti-Frizz Shampoo ($39)
Another shampoo that I keep in my shower and am absolutely loving right now is Colorproof CrazySmooth Anti-Frizz Shampoo. Because of my color-treated hair, I am very prone to frizz – which is exactly what this shampoo works to eliminate. The de-frizzing technology features a blend of oils which include Camellia Oil from Japan and Abyssinian Oil from Africa. Seaweed and Shea butter are also included in the formula to tame frizz and infuse hair with shine and smoothness. The formula is also 100% vegan, and works to keep hair healthy without weighing it down. This shampoo is great at detangling hair, which is one of my biggest issues with my locks! Buy at AMAZON.
