When I bought L’Oreal’s ‘How Romantic’ nail polish I didn’t even realize that it was so identical to Essie’s ‘Ballet Slippers’ until I stored it on my on-display style nail polish shelf. I thought this would be a great dupe post since ‘Ballet Slippers’ is one of Essie’s most coveted shades. Dupe: Revlon Soft Nude vs. MAC Creme d’ Nude
Revlon’s ‘Soft Nude’ is a well known dupe for MAC’s ‘Creme d’ Nude’. In the containers, these two colors do look very similar, but when applied to the lips, I really don’t see them as dupes at all. Dupe: Essie Mint Candy Apple VS. American Apparel Office
Although not identical, I’ve always found these two colors to be very similar. They are both in the mint green category but Essie’s ‘Mint Candy Apple’ has a more blue tint, while American Apparel’s ‘Office’ is more green.
