Stila’s Mystère Face Gloss was a limited-edition launch in 2021, and a favorite among many users. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was released before it’s time, I do believe that the limit does not exist to it’s potential in this viral age of Tik Tok.

Stila’s Mystere Shade Mystere Highlighting Face Gloss has a soft, translucent copper base with flecks of pink, copper, silver pearl, as well as larger sparkle/micro-glitter. These three marbleized shades combine to create a multi-dimensional, reflective glow with a shade-shifting effect as it catches the light.
The equal mix of warm and cool shades provide a universally-flattering sheen that provides a dewy, brightening effect. The lightweight formula glides on with ease, as it practically melts into skin upon contact. The brand recommends using your finger to apply, which is my personal preference as well. It can be blended all over for a vibrant glow or used to highlight the highest points of cheeks.
Recently, I shared photos of this discontinued face gloss on my Instagram, where I pleaded with the brand to bring it back in my caption. But thankfully, there is a similar product in Stila’s permanent range of products that the brand recommended I try in the comments. “I think you may love our NEW shade of Heaven’s Dew All Over Glimmer in Lake Havasu”, Stila wrote. Let’s just say the brand knows me well, as all it took was one Google search to confirm they were absolutely right.
Stila’s Heaven’s Dew All Over Glimmer is a gossamer-light hybrid cream/powder base that creates a hyper-lustrous, glistening effect with a barely-there feel. While it’s not exactly a ‘dupe’ for the Face Gloss, it features a comparable hybrid cream/powder formula and the ‘Lake Havasu’ shade parallels with the pink tones. The shade “Lake Havasu” is described as a rose gold, shimmering nude pink. I definitely reach for more rosy/pink tones when I’m shopping for highlighters, eyeshadows, (pretty much most beauty products!), so I’m excited to try this shade next.
