Leading the revolution in gel technology, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is the only true 2-step gel manicure with no light needed. I was given a few shades to try and have chosen my favorite to swatch and review!
“Spice Age” is a rich chocolate brown with a subtle shimmer finish. It’s one of those colors that can look quite different depending on the lighting. The color is on the warmer side, with slight reddish undertones.
The gel applied beautifully, with Sally Hansen’s classic nail applicator brush. The color was also highly pigmented, so if you’re in a rush you could get away with just applying 1 coat. Although it’s recommended that two coats are applied followed by the Sally Hansen Gel top coat.
The gel polish lasted almost two weeks without chipping, which is absolutely amazing for any type of polish. Considering this Miracle Gel formula doesn’t require a UV light for activation, this is pretty impressive.
Overall, I highly recommend this Miracle Gel polish as well as this particular color. The formula was super easy to work with and has amazing color pigmentation. It takes a lot for this polish to chip, so it’s such a great alternative than getting gel nails put on at the salon. These Miracle Gels are also highly affordable, ranging from $7-$10 depending on the retail store.
