Sally Hansen recently collaborated with three different designers to create a total of 9 limited-edition shades for Fall 2015. I was given a few shades to try myself, and completely fell in love with Prabal Gurung’s “Leaf Peeper” for Sally Hansen.
“Leaf Peeper” is medium dusty rose shade. Depending on the lighting, it can look quite darker – so I tried to capture the color in natural light (below).
Just like the other Sally Hansen nail lacquers, Leaf Peeper was easy to apply and has an amazing formula. I did apply two coats, although this color’s pigmentation would allow for one if you didn’t want to apply a second. It’s one of those colors that becomes darker as more coats are applied.
Out of the three Prabal Gurung shades, Leaf Peeper is definitely my favorite. It’s perfect for Fall, and is a great color if you’re looking for something darker but not too dark.
