The MAC x Cinderella collection was a major success and sold out within hours of launching on the MAC website. Thankfully, they restocked the collection a few days ago and I was able to get my hands on the lovely “Royal Ball” lipstick!
Ok I admit, I totally got into the Cinderella spirit and painted my nails with Essie “Teeny So Bikini” polish because what other color matches so perfectly?! The packaging of this collection was enough to sell me, between that baby blue and gold accenting, I truly couldn’t resist.
“Royal Ball” is described as a fleshy pink with a lustre finish. It applied more sheer than I was expecting, but you can build up the color intensity by applying more than one layer. The finish also has a slight frost look to it, but not as much as the actual frost-finish lipsticks. It’s a very neutral shade, perfect for the daytime or at the office!
