After taking off my precious acrylics, my nails had most definitely seen better days. I was given several imPRESS Press-on Manicure sets from a recent event I attended and up until now, had never tried them. So as I looked down at my damaged and uneven nail beds, I thought I would give one of them a try.
Each package comes with 24 nails in 12 different sizes. The only time-consuming part of the process is finding the right size press-on nail for each of your nails, and aligning them in order before applying. I was able to find the correct size for every nail, and they recommend using smaller sizes for best results.
Each nail has a strip of very sticky tape on the back, and it’s important to press them down firmly starting in the middle and then outwards. This part did not take too long, and it was kind of exciting being able to transform my dreadful looking nails into perfect manicured hands in seconds. I couldn’t find the color labeled on the package, but I matched the sku to the color on the imPRESS website which told me it’s named “So So Stella.”
My Review
I absolutely love the color of “So So Stella.” It kind of reminds me of OPI ‘You’re Blushing Again’ polish – which is one of my favorite colors! It’s a very neutral shade with a pop of light pink.
I found that the nails stayed on for days but after a day the sides were coming unglued, thus catching on my hair. So if you want to wear these press-on nails for a longer time, try not to touch your hair because once it catches it pulls it right out. Ouch!
Overall I think these nails are definitely worth the buy if you’re looking for a quick professional-looking manicure. It may not be a quicker process than painting your nails but it sure looks better than the paint job I can do 🙂
