As you all know, I’ve been doing dupe posts for Kylie Jenner’s Lipkits, Jeffree Star’s Velour Liquid Lipsticks, and now Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Liquid Lipsticks. Through all of my research searching for alternative colors, I have discovered many new makeup brands that I couldn’t wait to share with all my readers. I came across the brand, Colorkill when I was searching for dupes for “Vintage” by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I was immediately impressed with the adorable packaging, and after trying the colors for myself, came to love the brand even more. Playmate: A muted, soft taupe brown with a slight peach-beige undertone
Pink Gumballs: A light-medium pink with subtle cool undertones.
Sweet Salmon: A hot vibrant coral pink.
Carnival: A brightened medium pink with subtle blue undertones.
Indie Red: A deepened red with a subtle, cool tone.
Love Thing: A deep purple with subtle pink-red undertones
All of these liquid lipsticks have a matte finish and dry pretty quickly after applying. I loved the formula, as it was not drying like many liquid lipsticks can be. It lasted all day long, which I can vouch for as I wore the shade “Playmate” to a wedding I was at for 7+ hours. These lipsticks also have more formula in them then most liquid lipsticks. Ruby Bling: A vivid dark ruby red with a slight sheen of pearl pigment. Wear your ruby like the gem of passion
Occult: A plum with gunmetal
These two shades are slightly different than the others as they have a pearl pigment finish. However, they also dry completely matte and are just as transfer proof as the rest of the line of liquid lipsticks. I personally loved the “Occult” shade as it’s super unique and gave my lips a bit of a vampy look without being too dark.
