Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics recently launched a line of Longwear Lipsticks featuring 8 irresistible shades. Each lipstick is infused with advanced mineral pigment to give them an intense vibrancy, and all provide a matte, cashmere finish. The brand sent me a few colors to try and my personal favorite of the bunch was “First Kiss”.

Lipstick Description:
Designed for all skin tones, each irresistibly creamy lipstick supplies a veil of color that lasts through the day without the drying effects of most long wear color. The vegetable based castor oil provides this eco-friendly hydration, keeping moisture close to the skin’s surface. Each shade’s advanced mineral pigment color gives these lipsticks their intense vibrancy along with a matte, cashmere soft finish. Silica helps to affix these lush longevity pigments on the lips with no feathering or smearing, while green tea and vitamin E supply antioxidant protection. Perfect for day or night, each beautiful sleek tube will fit easily into any purse or pocket.
My Review
“First Kiss” is a cool-toned light pink. I haven’t worn pink lipstick in a while, ever since the mauve/brown lipstick trend has been around – but I actually really loved this color. It isn’t too bright or barbie pink, it’s slightly more muted which makes it a great color if you’re looking for a bit of pop but not too much.
I also found the lipstick to be very hydrating, just like the description states. It didn’t dry completely matte like a liquid lipstick would, but this is because of the hydrating formula it has. I also loved how easily the lipstick applied, with the sleek tubes slightly resembling the NARS Pure Matte Lipsticks.
Overall, I was really impressed with these lipsticks and I hope the brand launches more colors in this line!
