1. The Vintage Cosmetic Peggy Make-Up Headband ($4.99)
The Vintage Cosmetic is easily one of my favorite beauty brands, so naturally I was ecstatic when they began selling their products in Ulta Beauty. Their latest release, the Peggy Make-Up Headband is without a doubt my favorite one they’ve made yet. Adorned with a subtle leopard print, this headband is perfect for keeping hair out of your face when applying makeup or at-home facials/masks. 2. Stila Lingerie Soufflé Skin Perfecting Primer ($36)
After falling in love with Stila’s Lingerie Soufflé Skin Perfecting Color, I knew I also had to try the Primer. As predicted, the Stila Lingerie Soufflé Skin Perfecting Primer performed like a dream. The opulently-whipped gel is formulated with light-refracting pearls that add a natural-looking glow with a blurring, skin perfecting effect. Available in two finishes: Sheer Illumination (illuminating) & Sun-Kissed (bronzing). This skin-loving formula contains natural botanicals and over 70% water for a hydrated feel all day long. 3. Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid to Matte Lipstick “Warrior” ($18)
Another brand that I was thrilled to see join Ulta Beauty was Black Moon Cosmetics! This indie brand has been a favorite of mine for years and it was about time that such a large makeup conglomerate took notice to their widespread success. Currently available in Ulta is their liquid lipstick in shade, “Warrior”, a stunning balanced nude suitable for all skin tones. In addition to Warrior, Ulta Beauty also carries Sleepwalker, their cult-favorite black liquid lipstick. Warrior was even created in conjunction with a cause: cancer awareness year-round. In support of this cause, a portion of sales are donated directly to City of Hope Cancer Research and Treatment Center in Duarte, California. Buy at ULTA.
4. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Night Cream for Sensitive Skin ($29.99)
La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane Ultra Night Cream has become a staple in my nighttime skincare routine. Providing instant and long-lasting comfort, this night cream helps to restore skin’s protective moisture barrier throughout the night. The minimalist formula was created without ingredients commonly known to cause potential irritation or allergic reactions. 5. Leaders Aloe Soothing Renewal Mask ($5)
The Leaders Aloe Soothing Renewal Mask is another great product if you have sensitive skin like I do. This daily cotton sheet mask helps to relieve sensitive skin from internal and external stressors. Every so often my skin is in serious need of a detox. Thankfully, Burt’s Bees released their Detoxifying Clay Mask, which has become my go-to.
