The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are interesting because they aren’t lipstick or lip gloss, and although the formula is creamy, it dries to a matte finish. These long-lasting lip creams are also super pigmented and will only cost you $6!
The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams come in so many different colors that it can be overwhelming to choose just one! I purchased shades: “Stockholm”, “Cannes” and “Abu Dhabi”.
Stockholm is described as a mid-tone beige pink. Cannes is a darker pink with underlying blue undertones. I wasn’t expecting Cannes to be so dark, because so many of the swatches I saw online made it look lighter. I guess it all depends on the lighting! Lastly, Abu Dhabi is a deep-rose beige. This particular shade was hard to find because of it’s popularity, so I actually had to purchase it from eBay.

Overall, I would give the formula an A because it was highly pigmented and I really liked the creamy texture that dried to a matte finish. The color lasted on my lips much longer than a standard lipstick would and also costs much less than one too! These are definitely AllintheBlush-approved 🙂
