Happy Monday, my lovely readers! Today I have reviewed and swatched one of my favorite Anastasia liquid lipsticks, which also happens to be a cult-favorite! Although “Dusty Rose” is consistently sold out, I was able to get my hands on it during a restock.
The Color
“Dusty Rose” can be described as exactly what the name depicts. A dusty/muted rosey/mauve shade. I find the color to be very similar to my natural lip pigmentation, but with a bit more pink. It’s the perfect every day color if you’re looking for a neutral shade with a slight pop. It’s super flattering on many skin tones and can be worn with both heavy or natural makeup.
The Formula
The Anastasia Beverly Hills formula is probably my favorite liquid lipstick formula on the market. It’s extremely creamy with lots of pigmentation, making the application process a breeze. The lipstick goes on liquid and dries to an opaque matte finish within 5 minutes.
Longevity
This liquid lipstick truly does last all day. I will note that it needs a touch up if you’re eating, especially if the food is oil-based. Because the lipstick lasts all day, some people have said it has been drying, which I why I recommend applying a solid coat of a good chapstick beforehand.
Overview
Of all the liquid lipsticks I have tried, the Anastasia ones definitely last the longest and are my top pick. The formula quality, color variation, and longevity of these liquid lipsticks all surpass any other liquid lipstick I have tried and for that I give them an A+ and highly recommend them.
