Despite the drop in temperatures, I refuse to transition into fall trends, especially when it comes to nail polish. Summer is all about the bright colors – especially neons. Essie even released a Neon collection this past summer, which I undoubtedly fell in love with (see my review here), and after discovering “Purple Panic” by China Glaze today, I cannot stop glancing down at my nails!
Lately, I’ve gotten in a pattern of only buying Essie polishes but after trying out this extraordinary color at the salon, I am changing my ways!
“Purple Panic” by China Glaze is a matte bright pink..yes you read that right, it dries matte! Although the name is “Purple Panic,” this color is much more of a fuchsia shade rather than a purple. The formula is awesome-it dries super quickly and because it dries matte, multiple coats can be applied without showing lines. There is also a very subtle shimmer in this color, but it’s very hard to see it after applying two coats and a top coat.
